Ebury Street, Belgravia Luxury Apartment – A professionally decorated, well-located and beautifully kept first floor apartment (second story American, no elevator) in a period building available for short lets in Belgravia with many luxury amenities and details. Situated on a quiet stretch of Ebury street in the small and posh area of Belgravia (shared with a few famous faces, it might be noted), the owners of this terrific flat offer a unique property with fresh mid-century modern design, high ceilings and warm details that ensure the apartment is comfortable and inviting.
Rich color choices and comfortable furnishings are a feature of this Belgravia flat. Three bedrooms, including a grand and spacious master ensuite bedroom, with four beds, the flat accommodates 5 very comfortably. An L-Shaped sitting and dining room along with the tall ceilings and French windows looking onto a small balcony all serve to offer open space for comfortable group gatherings – this is a very nice property rental for families wishing to spend time together (all the more because the television is located in the Master Bedroom, rather than the Sitting Room, for maximum togetherness and personal interaction!)
The generous, comfortable sitting room is laid out in an L-shape, open with the dining area. Tall ceilings, big windows and lots of light to illuminate the butter colored walls. Mid century wood accented furniture, included two semi-circle easy chairs and a deep sofa seating 3, plus antique pieces like the oval coffee table and the parquet liquor cabinet, make the room visually interesting while still be inviting and comfortable.
This area has two easy chairs, a large sofa, a decorative fireplace with ornate mantle, built-in cabinets lined with books and various pieces of art, and a French doors out to a slim balcony facing onto Ebury Street. A dining table under the windows seats 6, and is positioned just next to the small, thoughtful kitchen.
The galley style kitchen at the Ebury Street flat has been beautifully remodeled and features all modern conveniences, including a dishwasher, oven, microwave, stove top with four gas burners, full-size fridge with freezer, cafetiere and filter coffee pot as well as a teapot.
Master Queen en suite bedroom: Very large and open spacious master bedroom with Queen bed, desk, chair, easy chair, dresser built-in bookshelves and tall tall windows letting in lots of light. The flat’s only television, with Satellite TV, is located in the master bedroom as well. The ensuite bathroom has a tub and separate shower stall. It is a very comfortable sanctuary space. Twin en suite bedroom: Two twin beds that can be pushed together or kept apart, closet space, built-in desk and shelving and an en suite bathroom with tub and shower-over-tub.
Single bedroom: Lovely small single room, painted in a deep heritage purple, has a single bed, large armoire for storage, and closet space just outside the door.
Location
Just a few blocks from the excellent shopping of Elizabeth Street, located conveniently off Eccleston street and quite close to Victoria and Sloane Square tube stations. The nearest underground stop in fact is Victoria Station, approximately a 5 – 6-minute stroll. Many bus tours and guided events depart from Victoria daily. The smaller and less bustling Sloane Square station is nearly as close, about 8 minutes.
There are a great number of terrific pubs in Belgravia, some quite famous, actually, in which to enjoy a pint (or two) and a casual meal. Belgrave Square Gardens, just a few blocks away, can be passed on the walk to Harrods, Harvey Nichols, or the museum district of South Kensington. In the other direction, Buckingham Palace and the palace Gardens are a nice and brief walk, as are Hyde Park, Parliament and Westminster Cathedral.
